Its been a great two years and the association has come a long way.  Some of the accomplishments of AkAA include: 

• publish a  newsletter,
• organize conference sessions about airport management issues on private and publicly owned airports, 
• attend meetings relevant to airport issues,
• created both a website and a blog to enhance communication among airports
• provide relevant training to airport managers, consultants, planners and other airport professionals. 

Elections for Alaska Airports Association (2010)

Now it's time to elect officers.  The title and a brief description of the duties are listed below.  For more information, visit www.akairports.org or call Jane Dale at 495-6708 by August 12.  We expect the new officers to participate at the Aviation North Expo!

Chair/President:

• Organization spokesperson
• Attends meetings, assists in the development of conference sessions
• publishes a newsletter

Vice Chair/President:

• Assists or serves as the chair in their absense.

Secretary/Treasurer

• The Secretary/Treasurer keeps minutes, publishes and distributes minutes to all members, maintains the current members list and other financial records of the Association.
• The Secretary/Treasurer serves as the Chair in the absence of the Chair and Vice-Chair.
